Voter Education
Promote the Vote prioritizes accessible and community-centered voter education to ensure residents have the information they need to confidently participate in elections. A key component of this effort has been the development and distribution of easy-to-understand voter guides that break down important election information, including voting dates, how to vote, and what issues or races may appear on the ballot. These guides are designed to be clear, nonpartisan, and accessible so that community members can quickly understand the voting process and make informed decisions.
To expand the reach of this information, Promote the Vote has trained community members and volunteers on how to effectively distribute voter guides and engage residents in conversations about voting. These trained community ambassadors help share materials throughout neighborhoods, at community events, and near polling locations, ensuring voters have access to resources when they need them most. In addition, Promote the Vote utilizes social media platforms to further amplify voter education efforts by sharing digital versions of voter guides, reminders about election deadlines, and informational content that helps residents better understand the voting process. Through a combination of in-person outreach and digital engagement, Promote the Vote works to ensure accurate voter information reaches communities that have historically faced barriers to participation.
